All the best for the upcoming season, lets hope its a good one 🎣
I'm not trying to destroy anybodies fun just an observation you liked!!!!😂😂Always someone who will want to destroy your fun....if the back end run still exists, this year we HAVE to find out..???
🤷Could that be a brown trout and not a tourist? Either way its a belter of a fish. Well done. Ive seen and caught big brownies up to 5/6lb whilst fishing for salmon on big dirty waters.
Sorry pal didn't mean to offend anyone, I am not an expert, I could have chosen better words...I'm not trying to destroy anybodies fun just an observation you liked!!!!😂😂
No worries, I'm slating a roof in ATM and am getting soaked. Just hope this rain will be enough to give a decent lift. Same story every year now no water in summer to speak of. I dropped out of a good club on the Tyne a few years ago because £800 for half a dozen visits in the backend fishing for coloured fish didn't seem like good value. Woe is me😢😢😉Sorry pal didn't mean to offend anyone, I am not an expert, I could have chosen better words...
Extortionate, I used to fish Luneside between the weirs but only day ticket, the money they were asking for a yearly ticket you would have to roof St Paul's to pay for it and that was one day on one day of, but it's collapsed much like the runs of fish on our beautiful Lune and it's a free for all now I see neherdowells throwing flying CS and nobody there to call them to account never mind ask them for there rod licence !! Sign of the times... but I am still maintaining the fish in question was a tourist 😉😉No worries, I'm slating a roof in ATM and am getting soaked. There have been a lot more than that caught on the Lune, I've seen at least twice that many from a handful of Ribble rods who fish the Lune. Thing is many of the were clean summer fish whereas on Ribble, bar 4 exceptions, have all been coloured fish that have holed up somewhere whilst many said the lower Ribble was empty. I'm not saying there have been good runs, just better and a lot think. I often wonder how many fish run up the river early on then drop back Sept/Oct and are caught middle river when spawning hormones kick in. Whilst some do colour up in estuary a majority have been in the river somewhere .Well the scores on the doors is Master caster 5 Rest of the world 6 ....I call that a result and final whistle hasn't gone... thanks for the reply Lez
For sure I am only referring to TAA waters, I’ve seen many pictures of fish from Bowland Anglers, Gressingham have had fish and I’ve heard of many from the bottom reaches too. Shame we had no water in August for us at the top end. There have been a lot more than that caught on the Lune, I've seen at least twice that many from a handful of Ribble rods who fish the Lune.
