Likely yes, TAA own some water and rent other parts. The past 18 months or so some of the land has gone for sale so the leasing stopped (Fairmile & Roundthwaite), some of it for silly money IMHO.

As for the Kent I don't know what happened to Suicide Terrace pool above the footbridge, I only found out that KAA had lost that bit last season which is a shame. The PAAS stretches on the Mint above Mealbank and Patton Bridge they have had for a long time, I started fishing the Mint further down 40 years ago and they had it then.

There seems to be a better stock of salmon in the river this year. Just Judging by the fish caught on our club beat and the fish I have seen show the last couple of times I have fished it. Last year there was nothing until the last two weeks of the season.
Yorkshire Fly or Bowland? Seen some superb fish on Facebook, lets hope they continue to come

Could that be a brown trout and not a tourist? Either way its a belter of a fish. Well done. Ive seen and caught big brownies up to 5/6lb whilst fishing for salmon on big dirty waters.
Specimen brownies up at Tebay this time of year are still characteristic yellow bellied from my experience. Either way its not a salmon 😄 . Nor was the one below I had below at 6am this morning just after a salmon showed in the same lie and buggered up the pool after it was hooked

Crewesader6 we’ve had no water for the past month so doubtful many anglers been out on Tebay fishing. That said a few of the boys will have been out for the seatrout, I’ll find out at next committee meeting in a couple of weeks. We have a smallish rise on at the moment, if I get chance I’ll be up for a couple of hours this afternoon

Well I've had 5, I know of at least another 6, some anglers will undoubtedly keep catches to themselves until the end of the season. We had 47 last year, 2023 was a dire year with only 14. I doubt we will exceed last year but likely already above 2023. Its all relative from the past, less angling pressure coinciding with less fish = much lower returns. Apart from the weekend I've seen very few anglers out specifically for salmon

There have been a lot more than that caught on the Lune, I've seen at least twice that many from a handful of Ribble rods who fish the Lune. Thing is many of the were clean summer fish whereas on Ribble, bar 4 exceptions, have all been coloured fish that have holed up somewhere whilst many said the lower Ribble was empty. I'm not saying there have been good runs, just better and a lot think. I often wonder how many fish run up the river early on then drop back Sept/Oct and are caught middle river when spawning hormones kick in. Whilst some do colour up in estuary a majority have been in the river somewhere .
For sure I am only referring to TAA waters, I’ve seen many pictures of fish from Bowland Anglers, Gressingham have had fish and I’ve heard of many from the bottom reaches too. Shame we had no water in August for us at the top end.
