I have just been handed down a rod from my Dad and i was woundering what it is for. It is a Greys of Alnwick Glen Aln #10 14ft.
Any information would help.

Can't help that you may need a reel as well! Did one come with the rod?

No idea about your longer version. Couldn't afford it! Certainly the shorter ten sixer #7/8 was a very capable weapon until boot met resistance....
