What are people cleaning and lubricating their lines with these days?

Just wondered what people are using to clean and keep their lines slick after a wash in Fairy Liquid? Are there any cheap line treatments that ( obviously) won`t ruin your line?

Maybe once every couple of seasons my trout floater gets a rub down with something that came with a snowbee and a cortland line long long ago.
Other than that I do nowt. Only line I've had issue with was one I dragged through snags.
Floating and running lines Armorall Protectant. Sinking lines just a damp cloth, sometimes Snowbee degreaser.

Agree on the armorall
No chemical things on my lines ! No longer after some serious damages on PVC coating with cracking in short time.
Only washing in mild soap water from Time to time. Watch the suggestions and videos on Rio website !

Gentle wash in tepid water with a few drops of Fairy Liquid. Dry, then polish with a very small amount of Loon Line Speed.

Seems to work pretty well: some of my Rio lines are approaching 15 years of age without any signs of cracking.

luke warm water and washing up liquid them Armorall when dry

a mate put his Carron Spey line in the dishwasher?????

totally ruined the line and the dishwasher - created a huge birds nest of goo around the rotor arms and seized the motors

maybe he shouldn have used the ‘intensive’ wash cycle

At least once a year if not more all my lines get washed in warm soapy water then coated with lubricant, these last few years rio agent x has been my first choice

I'm sure there is a cheaper alternative to the prices Rio charge out there somewhere like wiz lube from G.A.C

The problem I find with wiz lube is the misus doesn't believe me when I say what it is intended for ?

This year was the first time i had ever cleaned mine before, thought i would give the Rio cleaning towlette a go, only 99p each was quite surprised actually how much dirt they removed of my lines, seemed to work pretty well, so thats me ready for the start of the season,

Nothing but a yearly wash with Ecover Zero (a Belgian biodegradable soap based on lactic acid).
Twice a year mine get cleaned and coated with the snowbee line lube
