Used to tie loads of these, there's a fair few kicking about Scotland. Anyway I finally got some nice capes in so can tie them again.
You use the marabou like fluff at the bottom of a hen feather. It moves like a dream behind that wee cone.
I got the idea from another fly I used to tie, the UV snaelda. It worked pretty good too.
Very fish like in the water, you can see why they work when you fish one. Worth a bash! Wriggles like a politician being asked if he wore a seat belt or not 🤣
