Waiting for my wife to get ready so we can go out for whats left of the day, then listen to her winge in the car about how cold it is and winge when she gets out of the car about how cold it is. Then i will be acting as referee between my 2 and 3 year old boys who dont really like eachother much and insist on fighting most days. Then home and take the dog for a walk for some peace then retire upstairs so i dont have to watch that celebrity in the jungle **** or people singing.

Just back from work at teesside, I'll have quick cup a coffee then take the dog a walk down the Clyde side, back hame and get the chook in the oven and chill for a bit wae a wee beer then get the gear ready and back teesside in the morning

I’m sitting at the truck stop eating breakfast. I just went to the railroad underpass here In town and net a few pigeons with a long handle net from under the bridge. I’m headed out falcon trapping today but the suns not up for another hour so I’m killing time.

The nice thing about going before sunup as opposed to after sundown I the evening is there is less traffic and the cops don’t show up. Usually they get calls about ‘a guy tormenting pigeons’ in the underpass and come out. They know me now tho so they just tell me ‘try not to get run over’ then go on their way. Silly busybodies with nothing better to do than complain calling them I’m sure. Small town Merka!

Limping along putting skirting on a newly laid floor. I say limping as I have a very sore disc injury in my back and bad whiplash (someone ran into my car). So doing it all with a back brace on. My physio would kill me if she knew but it’s all got to be finished by Christmas so the pressure is on and needs must. .

Currently my wife is running me a hot bath with some cocodamol and some strong cider at the ready. So not all bad. . .

Firstly cleaned the house, then sorted a pile of firewood out. Visited an Edwardian festival, saw my children's choir sing, bought some nice food and beer. On here now until Blue Planet starts then i'll open a beer!!

Bored already!,spent a riveting afternoon stripping down tubes flies for re-tying,cooked a reet tasty mega fry up for me n Mrs Rennie(wasn't fried really, just the egg, all grilled and oven cooked),sat with a gurt mug of tea now contemplating how I'll use all those Loop bottle tubes I've just liberated!.
