Thought I would start a new thread for this year.
The river is at a fish able height today for about the second time all year. I’m busy today too typical.
Think Westie is making his first trip to the southie today fingers he posts a pic of a fish on this thread later today.
Tight lines to all (y)

No I bought a ticket for Cortachy.
I actually bought 2 tickets as I went back the next night and nailed another one :ROFLMAO:
It was a scabby fecker though.
They were starting to rot. There were a good few dead fish about.
I seen one dead easy 16lb bottom of dairy pool.

It's going to be much worse this season if we don't get more rain.
You could count on one hand the amount of days I fished the southie last year because of lack of water.
The Westie was even worse.
I fished it twice all season that was it.
Ive still not wet a line on it this year yet.
Im going to join another club next year as well, as my locals just not getting enough water these days.

looking at metcheck today things may be a bit more interesting this summer under our postcode a few hours of rain can rise the tributaries pretty quickly

Back on its bones again.
The river needs a good flush out.
The river bed was manky last week.
A load of black sludge covering everything

Hail stones, thunder and lightning and bucketing down just now.
Dont think it will be enough though.
