Great video and I think your fish handling was as good as it could have been in the circumstances.

I took one of my old system 2 8/9's out for a day a couple of weeks ago and loved the noise it made. Most of the fish I caught were grilse, albeit mainly a good stamp of grilse in the 5 to 6lb class, but there were 2 or 3 good salmon as well. What a noise when you are in to the backing on such a small arbour reel!

Aled's comment reminded me of a night on the Barnstaple club water 20 years ago with the sound of screaming reels upstream and down. Happy days indeed.

(I've never understood people who can put a weight on a fish they haven't landed)?

I'm surprised, well perhaps that's a step too far, that it's not occurred to you that if you followed the rules and didn't post offensive material no one would ever report you. This isn't a school playground.
