The 'new' generation of fisher people in America are busy ruining the history and tradition of angling with the fly. I fished for steelhead last week and was the only angler on the river actually casting a hand tied fly. Everyone else and I do mean everyone else was using a plastic egg suspended beneath a bobber. They do this with every sort of rod from 9' to 13 ...... Now they want to destroy the birthplace of the 2 hand casting by hauling yuppies in rafts down the rivers of Scotland?
