these look great, sure you guys are right, but at 11.5cm they sound quite long to me, wouldn't you prefer them a little shorter??
That was my thoughts at first too as there might not be as much control.

If I do not like them then they will go to the missus and her jewelry making collection.:D:D
You guys will love them. They are not too long and the only pair I have better than these are the Rubis which cost silly money.

sorry i have to dissagree on the dental scissors. i have two pair bought recently and dont rate them as good flytying scissors. the finger holes are much too small as i keep scissors in my hand whilst tying, also there not serrated and they slip rather than cut. there ok for a fiver but i would buy a pair of serrated flytying scissors. ive tried most makes and my favourite are 4" dr slick all purpose. real workhorse scissors with fine tips which cover all my needs. had these 3 years now and there only starting to lose their edge.

We all have our own techniques so at the end of the day you need to find a pair that suit you. I have pairs of Dr Slick and even more expensive Rubis and others and I hardly ever use them as the dental ones do the job great.

first time i have ever heard anyone that doesn't rate them as good fly tying Scissors for me they are better than anything else out there and i don't like those big handled scissors but fair play OFM we don't all do things the same way and you like what you use better can't argue with that|!
Was hoping they wouldn't catch on they were being bought for tying and yep the price has gone up by about ÂŁ3 from when i got mine and will no doubt get another hike in the wrong direction shortly , hoe the hell does a dental tools seller find out they are bought by fly tyers must be seeing abnormal high sales then checking out who is buying them!
