Thanks Igaffz, seen a few francis' done like it and eyelets on here a while back. Never fished a snaelda before so worth a go🤷‍♂️

Looking at that, a rivet is the way to go for that style of fly as the flange makes for a very neat rear body. It never ceases to amaze me how WG colours lend themselves to just about any fly recipe!

It's quite a while since I entered TOTM but thought I would throw my hat in the ring. The competition has developed greatly in terms of quality and quantity with 18 flies posted already. This is my Alistair Frances and is based on the gold, red and dirty yellow/brown combination of the traditional tube fly. Different but not likely to catch on 😆
