2 years ago 20000 were trapped in 2 north Norway rivers, they are on the march.

Sorry to derail slightly but does this species compete with the native salmon?

I think the jury is out on that one, what I find difficult to understand is why this salmon is doing so well compared to the Atlantic salmon.

Somebody has suggested they don’t travel far up river, well I’ve seen them at least 5 mile up river.
