Good fish Jimmy well done. Liked the video and enjoyed the commentary albeit reality about this season. Looks like a good wee bit you were on.
Much appreciated lads for the reply’s, yeah the wire pool is the big pool above the falls,Mr TSH, every year there are shed loads of fish that come out of that spot by the seasons end, but it was a bad year compared to the belter of a year that was 2024. We all had our fish in July last year, and good scores on the board, but i thought we were in for another great year, but how wrong was I, it ending on pretty mediocre scores really fellas, but that’s the call of the river for ye. If I was brutally honest ( as I always try to be especially to my subscribers) ill be a wee bitty glad to see her end on the 31st and raise my hopes for a great 2026.
When I was a wee boy, I remember my father sitting me down in the kitchen and saying to me, “ You see a thief jimmy son, well you can watch a thief, keep your eyes on him,so he doesn’t steel your stuff, but you see a liar, well you never know where you are with a liar, that guy could be lying through his teeth to you, and your believing him, then he’s away sniggering and laughing behind your back, at how stupid you are, and how easily your taken in…So always tell the truth son,always tell the truth,” so that’s how I brought up my 4 big sons and my daughter, to always tell the truth and shame the devil, so when I tell the subscribers something, you can be pretty sure that it’s accurate enough. But all said and done, good year bad year, I wouldn’t swap it for the world, because there’s a magic there isn’t there, just something magical about that salmon fly rod in your hand, and your at a pool, and salmon are jumping all around you…….Long may it continue, and there’s still time for the fellas who have been a wee bit unlucky and not took there first fish yet…..I wish you all well, Tight lines and all the best for the last 10 days…..jimmy.👍
