My McClean trout sized weigh net broke a few weeks ago when the bolt which holds the net assembly onto the handle sheared. It appeared to be a M2.5 bolt which I though would be simple to find but which turned out to be simply unavailable from the usual DIY / hardware shops.
I had bought it from an Northern Irish dealer at the Galway show a few years back so I had no tackleshop to bring it to for parts.

I worked out that the European distributor was Guide Flyfishing in Leeds (looks like they also distribute Rio and Sage) and one phone call solved the issue with a replacement bolt sent in the post by return. It arrived today and the net is now fixed.
It is good to know that there are distributors out there who genuinely support their products.
Many thanks to Mark at Guide Flyfishing.
