No it’s one of the full action rods that bends to the cork.
I’m building a 12’6” #8 sample blank just now.
Im really pleased with my new stiffer range. I’ve been using the various sizes all season and loving them. Real easy to cast. I was using the 13ft yesterday and actually had a chuckle to myself at how much line I could punt out with it. And I’m far from a great caster. I had it singing. Anything that makes me look good must be pretty user friendly haha.
Anytime you fancy or anyone else fancy’s a shot of any of my range to try out just pm me. And I will send a rod off for you to play with to see if you like.
No offence taken if anyone doesn’t like them as I can’t expect everyone to like the same thing.
I’m aiming for a full range of rods that are good fishing rods and are easy to put out decent lines with, that most people will pick up and get on with straight away.
Then I can tailor that to make it special and unique to that person.
Im having lots of fun so far.
