Just really echoing the OP and others above: everyone should really listen to and absorb the information discussed in this forum. It is genuinely informative and, I think, an invaluable and non-partisan collection of discussions and views from experts on the truly disturbing situation the Atlantic salmon is facing.

It seems clear to me that one thing we can all do to help, is stop eating farmed salmon from open net pens and encourage everyone we know to do the same. I just find it amazing that so little daylight is being shone on this industry, it’s practices and the consequences of them.

This is all just my humble opinion but if you are concerned about the plight of the salmon or would just like to know a bit more about it, I can highly recommend it!
