Discovered this blackbirds nest at ground level in a quiet part of the garden. Hopefully she will be back later.

I am hoping for the best! Just checked and she is back on the nest.
Never seen one nest on the floor before!

I am afraid it didn't end well. Just checked and the eggs have all gone! Not surprised but a shame.

Your blackbirds are just as stupid as ours which will build a nest in all sorts of inappropriate places.

That's such a shame... We have blackbirds nesting in the hedge in our front garden and they are furious when we dare to leave or return to the house. It's not our drive any more. It's theirs.
