i find it strange that the rods handle is getting straighter every time they bring out a new range, it wont be long before they are straight ;)
What have they changed in the handle.
You will find out in a week when you have one in your hand.
Now that's a thumbs up!
I think that thumbs up smiley is either wasted, or a bit "special needs"...
I can imagine it must be fun at some of these demonstrations for Henrik with some of the line nerds.....:D:D

"Mr Mortensen, I measured the head length on your 8.5m compact, it's actually only 8.3m, so your technical assertions on your website appear to be flawed assertions or possibly typographical error, but i'll allow slight deviation for the fact that the welded loop accounts for 27mm of it's length, but my conclusion, ultimately, is your recommendations are erroneous"..

Now just cut it out....you know very well the loops account for 25.75mm of the overall line length ;););)
Mr M. working his magic...
How did he get on with the light lines?:)
Made Scott Mackenzie look like an amateur...;)

looks like he's crashed his anchor!! well were all a bit rusty at the start of the new season:rolleyes:
Not blown at all but just to put the picture in perspective there was a 30-40mph gale howling directly downstream ruining everybody's D-loops. You should have seen how the "punters" got on....:eek::eek:
Wish I had of been there. Im counting down the minutes till the gear arrives.
Did you have a go with the new rods mark?
I did indeed sir. Tried the Inspire firstly, followed by the Signature - both rated at 34g. The Inspire was softer with a deeper action compared to the "faster" Signature. Both however were lovely to cast - IMHO of course.
The Zpey guys couldn't do enough for us - hope you have a good time with yours.

Cheers, M.
You should never meet your heroes, they always look smaller in real life! ;) So come on, give us a bit more of a scoop on his casting!

Seen the wind and rain and no way was I going through my casting is bad enough in no wind not a day for trying rods out.sorry I missed big Morty casting though I would of liked to see him battling the elements.are the signature rods like the instincts mark?

I know but not in this case  He's a big lad and I'm 6'1" - and he (and his fellow Zpey cohorts) could cast like demons in the howling gale, knew their stuff and were more than happy to spend time with me  and the punters who fancied a go with new Inspire and Signature ranges.

Tried both out and have to say they were lovely..........
Unfortunately I will probably have to buy a new Signature ;) The new handle design works for me :cool::cool:
