We all need some one to blether pish with, this a great place to do it, I'm still awaiting clearance from Cancer, had a CT scan on Friday, things get in the way, but I still mange to get some fun out of doing what bit of fishing I can mange, filming a bit on my youtube channel, that is just for me and my rehab really, but some folks follow along. Fishing, even just talking about it, is a great healer and clears the mind and soul, does for me anyway, now over 70 years of fishing, trying to beat my old Grandads record of fishing during his 90th year, not fly fishing, he was a Roach angler in England's midlands on the rivers and canals, but the joy of the take, what keeps us going. I was in the loft earlier, found an old photo of me with a Barbel caught from the River Dove in Derbyshire, I remember that day even now and it wasn't a particularly big fish.

@burnie Keep your thoughts positive, the photo below is of me this July in Iceland about two months after seven weeks at five days a week inside a Halcyon machine receiving Radio Therapy, already booked again for 2026, the fishing that is not the Halcyon machine. 🤣
