In the market for a few capes, not used any of Sean Stanton’s and wondering if anybody has? They seem good value at £10 but not seen one before?

Looking for peoples opinions before I buy.

Buy genetic Whiting 4b or pat nolan for salmon flies, with most materials you need to buy by sight but chinese capes more so.
They vary from excellent to terrible with thick quills...

If you're after some general feathers for lures and streamers check what steve has over at cookshill. I've found his cheaper capes surprisingly good.

Olly’s Hackles on fb has some good capes at very reasonable cost, including some genetic.
