So, after months of constant denials around the alleged 30,000 drop in membership suggested by the Sunday Mail,
the truth has eventually been extorted from Murrel, much to the horror of former Editor In Chief of the S.M.and now S.N.P. Media Chief, Murray Foote, who was instructed by the great man himself to issue a total repudiation of that suggestion and that the membership remained stable. He went on record as saying that the drop suggested was "not just wrong, it's wrong by about 30,000".
