NHS dentistry treatment will soon be a thing of the past the way things are going. Here in Dumfries and Galloway numerous dental practices have either shut or went private over the last few months shoving tens of thousands of folk onto the great dental scrapheap. I've emailed D&G NHS about this only to be told that not one dental practice in the region is taking on new NHS patients.Scotland desperately needs strong guidance as we really are close to a catastrophic collapse of vital services, GP's surgeries are closing and they are way behind on recruiting new Doctors being just one real worry that needs planning, joined up thinking and money and I am struggling to see any of that on the horizon.
I think this is a pivotal point in the erosion of the NHS, where we have got to the point with dental care first, that there is no choice but to go private.
That's seriously embarrassing, a stranger to the truth right enough.
