Honestly, if this wasn't so serious for we Scots we would all think it was a huge joke.
The calibre of candidates to run our erstwhile proud country is so poor, no wonder Sturgeon held office for 8 years.
Prime candidates are;
Humza Youseff; What can you say about him? Dull as dishwater, failed claim against a nursery fhe accused of racism after he and his wife threw the rattle out of the pram when their wean was refused a place.
Recently, as Health Minister, presided over the longest waiting lists in history with Doctors issuing safety warnings all over the place. Sturgeon must have been fed up batting away calls for his resignation for incompetence. The biggest laugh though is, as Transport Minister, being fined and 6 points awarded for speeding and driving without insurance in Dingwall. How did he get away without his head rolling on that one?
He says he would unite the country?? Errrrr, I don't think so?

Kate Forbes; Well, her situation is fundamentally (I use that word advisedly) flawed in that she is a devout member of the Wee Free Kirk which stymies her flexibility to be objective somewhat. Or to embrace easily shift in cultures beyond their own interpretation of the bible. Mixing Church and State is a definite no no and her views on the gender debate renders her unelectable.

Ash Regan; Principled, but again a Pariah in the eyes of the left woke brigade after she resigned on the gender reform platform. Hence unelectable.

Angus Robertson; In my view, a dark horse outsider who has ruled himself out might just yet be persuaded I think? A safe pair of hands compared to the contenders above certainly. If he doesn't stand, then, we are in for a situation where the only viable candidate is Youseff? F.F.S?
Mind you, if Mhairi Black throws her hat in the ring it really will be a circus parade. W.T.F?

Whatever, I have previously said I have watched the Office of 1st Minister be gradually and relentlessly eroded since Donald Dewar held it. It is about to plumb new depths with the absolute paucity of talent in that line up.

Scotland desperately needs strong guidance as we really are close to a catastrophic collapse of vital services, GP's surgeries are closing and they are way behind on recruiting new Doctors being just one real worry that needs planning, joined up thinking and money and I am struggling to see any of that on the horizon.
NHS dentistry treatment will soon be a thing of the past the way things are going. Here in Dumfries and Galloway numerous dental practices have either shut or went private over the last few months shoving tens of thousands of folk onto the great dental scrapheap. I've emailed D&G NHS about this only to be told that not one dental practice in the region is taking on new NHS patients.

It's all very well and good wee Nippy saying that everyone up to the age of 25 shall get free dental treatment, for that to happen you need a dentist taking on NHS patients, another fail from the SNP.

I've also emailed the Scottish Government about this and the response was, as to be expected pathetic, they really are so out of touch with the real world. Just a reminder of who's in charge of the health service in Scotland, why none other than the man that's now going to save the country, none other than the famous Humbug Yousless.🥴

I think this is a pivotal point in the erosion of the NHS, where we have got to the point with dental care first, that there is no choice but to go private.

Aye that would be ok if you had the finances to go down that route. Some folk are struggling to pay fuel, rent, food etc, paying for private dental treatment is simply not an option.

My local dentist went private, it's now £30 for a check up, £50-60 for a scale and polish. A filling is anywhere between £40-130, root canal from £300, etc, quite frightening really.

That's seriously embarrassing, a stranger to the truth right enough.

It's all okay though, she said John Swindle would come up with the answers later.

You couldn't make this up, lol, I guess it's only okay if the puppet on the end of the string is being controlled by Peter and Nicoliar.

Nicola Sturgeon's sister has launched an attack on SNP leadership candidates Kate Forbes and Ash Regan. Gillian Sturgeon said she would "rather vote Tory" than for "two females" she would not want "running" her country. In a politically charged Facebook post, Ms Sturgeon hit out at the "shameful and disgraceful" leadership candidates.

Ms Regan and Ms Forbes are battling it out against Humza Yousaf in an attempt to become the new leader of the SNP, following Nicola Sturgeon's resignation last month.

The outgoing First Minister's sister wrote on Facebook: "I may lose fb friends but as I always do, I'll say it anyway.

"Two females just now out to cause trouble & cast assumptions with no evidence.

"Puppets on someone's string no doubt and it's not difficult to work out who!!!!!! I would not want either running my country. Shameful & disgraceful.

All a nationalist hears in his head is 'Independence, independence' over and over. The truth on each issue is irrelevant, only the end game.
Yip, easily led.
