Just wondered if any of you guys n gals have had to deal with the above.

My springer got poisoned a few months back (undiluted Jeye's Fluid) which caused a fair bit of damage to her gut. It's been a bit of a rocky road since then and vet's said today that it's now 'classic' signs of IBD.

Naturally more tests to be done but I'm looking for some hope! The wee toot has gone from 19.5kg pre poisoning to 16.2kg as of today.

She's still all springer mind and bouncy as ever!!

Cheers Arnold.

Three days of poop samples first, just in case the trauma to her gut has caused some intolerance, then straight onto antibiotics whilst samples are analysed. If that doesn't throw anything up then biopsy.

There has been an outbreak of Giardia in one area of Aberdeen - not far from me actually - but nowhere near where I've ever walked her.

Fingers crossed.

How's wee Talla doing? (Or nae so wee now, lol)
