This sweet and lovely girl got to 14 and passed away yesterday. Absolutely gutted.
Also lost my father on the 22nd Dec of this year who adored her, I like to think they are reunited now.
2022 can absolutely do one..

I am so sorry to hear of your double loss. There are no words that can be said or written to take away the pain but memories will be the comforting factor for both your father and your sweet girl. I went through similar a few years ago and understand the feelings of this double loss. Like you say your dad will be walking her in the fields of heaven and waiting for the time you are all together again.
I hope you find strength from your memories and love for both and that the New Year brings a happier and brighter start to the months ahead.
Take care,
Andy

Many thanks for the kind words Andy.
Here's to a fresh year - onwards and upwards and a Happy New Year to you and yours when it comes.
Thanks
John

When you chase a pheasant and think you are clever hurdling some reeds ending in a full speed belly flop into a peat bog/pond requiring a scruff of the neck rescue from the mud
An old guy training spaniels gave her a 6.4 Great dive but lost points for landing with the landing gear up

It isn’t here , Alan.
Windows are nigh on coming in.

Not today , but you‘ll get my drift. 😉

Is there a wee bit of a breeze Brian?

The forecast up here was grim too so decided on a long lie rather than heading to the boat. As it turned out, the forecast was miles off the mark and it was a lovely day to be out and about,

Just a bit 😉
As bad a couple of hours as I’ve seen for awhile.
Eased off to a hurricane over the last 10 mins😂

So pleased they’re doing a good job! Yes!

Bette also tries to liberate all the socks in the house by taking them outside. We have a friend staying with us this weekend and she’s obsessed with his socks and gloves.
Their dog just finds random things to steal and carry as he likes being chased to get them back. He had a bath towel from the radiator when we arrived and is constantly stealing teatowels from the bench
