Exactly !A wee windowsill guard dog![]()
He/she looks class. Very distinguished looking.
Nice puppy !Hi Sanfranfoer,
Filling Oscars paws - impossible but Many thanks for the very fine offer of what looks like a very lively and loveable beagle but I think that a wee Border Terrier who will be called Bandit will be the way we will be going forward as a family, something like this little fella would be spot on.
Looking forward to meeting the wee fella already - I enjoy dogs that have both ample character and an attitude - you can always see it in their eyes

Baby wipes for his erse and everything
Agreed ?Most of my pics of her today were rubbish. She is too fast in action shots - or my phone is too slow to capture her. She's still flaked out. I may have thrown the stick too many times...
We need more pics of Niamh. Two isn't enough.
Must be some stench off those trainers to make a puppy pass out like that. It's such a hard life being a puppy....

She'll go for walks with two of us but not yet with just one human in tow. The neighbours are loving it - me and Lola come bounding out the back door down the driveway before the brakes go on right at the pin curb every single time. Then 5 minutes of me trying to use my powers of persuasion while she just sits there looking at me like I'm some kind of idiot.
They always say, "a dog looks like it's owner"Archie loves going fishing but hates the rain. View attachment 49038
Superb looking dogs, thanks for sharing, and how are their coats so glossy ???Not been on here for a while, rivers dry and salmon fishing has been poor so far for me (2 salmon and 2 sea trout), have had 75 sea bass though to keep me occupied, oh and a cracking 6.5lb mullet on trout fly rod, some scrap off those mullet?
My latest addition Rona is coming on nicely, fist pic in May and second one this month, she just turned 5 months old yesterday and her training is going well thus far.

Great shot, Iain... Gorgeous dog, too.
I am falling fully under the spell of our new (to us) cockapoo. I've gone from thinking they're a bit ridiculous/an overpriced mutt etc etc, to revelling in how soft and unmoulty and BRIGHT she is. She's a very sharp, clever, biddable dog - you only have to tell her something once. Does anyone here work theirs? She has that cocker stamina and (crackers) eagerness to please with a seriously fast poodle brain to temper it. They must make decent working dogs, given both breeds' histories?
Here she is, not working. at all Being cute, and lying in the cat bed. She fits, she sits. View attachment 65861 View attachment 65862
She gets on really well with Merle, who is coming out of her shell more with an indifferent dog companion - she hated our beagle always in her face, wanting to play, but Bette hates playing with other dogs, so together they just run and mooch, and they've started to lie together. Merle moves a lot more in the house with Bette around - not quite such a stuffed dog in the corner.
You have described them perfecty. They have so much character, and such positive, joyful energy. Accepting my springer is very emo. Such cheerful, happy, energetic dogs. Every day is Bette's best day.
Yours is verrry cute. What's her name?
Couple of days ago, I was sitting at the kitchen table having a coffee, when I heard a strange gurgling sound. I looked around and saw nothing of note.View attachment 68120

Ours ploughs puddles with her muzzle. Never known a dog so committed to getting filthy mucky
