Beginning the hunt for my Dream Salmon Fishing Trip

A buddy and I are committed to a salmon fishing trip in the 2024 season. We both are "good" fishermen, but far from professional... I will be 72 for this trip but am very active and fit. We are hoping to fish for 3 days (spinner or similar) wanting sizable fish, but not hoping for trophies. We like remote and do not like "crowds" ... Tents or cabins are fine.. joining this forum to help determine WHEN, WHERE, and HOW much. ... not interested in over paying for "corporate hype places" ... with that said, I begin my search.... Ron

We are ALASKA bound....
Pm Hardyreels on here. He lives in Alaska and will no doubt have some great advice for you.
Tight lines on your trip
Hardyreels as the first point of call, but I would recommend putting this message on SpeyPages as well (want to say that's more a US based readership, whilst we tend to be a bit more UK based here)
Gonna say red letter days are still possible in Scotland on somewhere like the Halladale in May/June but its entirely dependent on water
