That angler is a Yorkshire lad, EEEE By Gum, had me lucky flat cap on.

I was born fifty years too late - but only for the salmon fishing!

I don't know the pool but it was May 1923

Incredible what these Rivers could once produce. I'm going to be spending a bit of time down that area of Wales from. September any advice would be very welcome.
