Salarchaser i think Gatland has chosen the team which he thinks would be least likely to lose by 50 points. Its a "damage limitation" team in my opinion! Paris is a cauldron at the best of times and some of those old heads have won there in the past. Also i really hope that Rees-Zammit does a bit of running tomorrow i'd love to see him ball in hand and in space. I think Pfeul will be drinking celebratory beer on Saturday, we'll be drowning our sorrows!

Whatever the result, what is sure is that it will be party time at Stade de France tomorrow. I'll be there and let you know if the beer was cold enough and with plenty of foam (That's how we like it here) :)

One day you'll learn! Anyway, I suspect Frances chances of winning the RWC are about to take a dramatic upturn. Those Irish fellas will still be wrecked come September after Saturdays party. Hammering England in Dublin on St Patricks day to win a Grand Slam. OMG (as the kids say)

That’s the way, so cold you can’t taste it and plenty of foam so you don’t have to have a glass full. I thought that was a very good idea when I was there. Of course over here we would be drinking champagne. 😊

The Irishmen deserve their right to party on Saturday.
They've been so dominant during this 6 nations (even there is still the England game to win, but I can't see how England would be able to correct all of their deficiencies in one week)

Well time flies as usual and here we are at the last weekend of the 6 Nations! Fishing season on the horizon. So to today:
Ireland 30 England 12, i dont think England will score many tries here.
Scotland 40 Italy 26: This could be a try fest as both sides want to throw the ball around
France 35 Wales 20: Rees-Zammit should have the ball in a bit of space and i'm relying on him to run a couple of tries in, also the Wales back line will be pretty determined in defence, so i think France will score a little bit less against us.
I'll leave with my usual message, sing loud sing proud drink some beer and enjoy the match, i'm off to meet a few mates at the local rugby club to sink a few pints and to reminisce about younger days!...but Dewch Mlan Cymru/Come on Wales.
Cheers Aled

Not often you'd score a hatrick and not get motm, though in fairness Dempsey was very good. Strange sort of a game, very high intensity, Italy getting a few dud refs decisions in the first half, maybe it cost them a win.

Home wins all round, so congratulations to the winners.
Italy had their chances to take the game but blew it, well done Scotland and some nice tries.
Well done France, Wales showed more intent and direction today than they have done all 6 nations!
England looked like they may get somewhere until the red card, however congratulations Ireland on the Grand Slam, well deserved, so...World Cup in 7 months time!!!
Cheers. Aled

I don't think Itay got dud ref decisions. A few years ago and the last world cup, I felt Scotland were hard done by the referee. But in hindsight if you are not good enough that's what happens. Scotland learned and got better hopefully Italy will do the same and the 6 nations and European rugby Will be better more exciting ( if it can get ) and more watchable.

Congratulations to Ireland, a well deserved Grand Slam.

Much better showing from England considering the red card, something for the coaches to work on.

Credible performance from Wales who had some very good passages of play, ultimately France had too much class and scored some very good tries.

Italy won't come any closer to a win than that, it looked a certainty that they would score in the final few minutes but well done to Scotland for holding out and ultimately scoring a last gasp try.
