You do realise that these rods cast an extra 3689 feet than others don't you ?

 

The Shakespeare and Guideline I linked to above will not cast quite as far, but will leave enough over for at least two McDonalds and a few pints afterwords.

 

That vision custom is a great buy,iv recently started using vision rods and they are up there with the best,I wouldn't dismiss it for a few quid over your budget,I have no connection to the rod or seller

 

The original vision nite catapults were/are blinding rods, loved the action on the 10ft 7wt's

 

An other option is a custom build by our "flying scotsman" on here
