  1. Patterns for other species
Bit of an epic tying these.....? I see these sometimes referred to as " snake flies", but to my mind they are nothing like a snake fly, so tandem zonker it is. Never tried these personally, but heard they can be very good...we'll see

2 Fox wing and 1 Zonker wing Octopussy variants. The head Hackle is Ostrich fibres wound in a dubbing loop. I think the cones are FITS Turbo cones, or Futurefly UFO discs. They should be mobile flies. Pictures aren't great, I like the Zonker wing best in the flesh. Zonker close up: Fox...

  10. Hairwing Fly Patterns
Thought I might as well join in, lol. A couple of size 7 Cascade with zonker wings. One Mink and on Rabbit.
  11. Shrimp Fly Patterns
Couple of zonker wing shrimps , fur cut off the strip. I used the same soft grizzle hackle as on the other Zonker tube. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've ever seen a shrimp with a wing but a cascade has one so they must have;)
