    Hi I've been using Veniards Cellire Varnish No.1 Clear (Fine) and when varnishing the heads of flies some of them have been turning cloudy after a short period. Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks mikh

    Has anyone else on here had any experience of Veniard's red varnish looking insipid? I bough a new bottle at the start of December from Fishtec and all the heads have come out a pinkish red, rather than the deep red I've always been used to. See picture below: ..

    Variant of the Kinermony Shrimp, tied low-water style with copper flash in tail, copper oval back body and copper lite-brite with copper rib front body. Another coat of varnish and in the summer box it goes :)

    What do you use for applying the varnish? I bought some of the cellire varnish thinking it'd have a brush attached , but no! I've seen what look like an empty bottle with an applicator on it, is that what I should be looking for? Thanks for any advice.

    Hi, i have came into a quality greenheart trout rod- 9'#6 line. I plan to use it this year for dries and buzzers. My question is, which type of varnish is best for touching up the whippings ? Would a touch-up with " hard as nails" be ok or even " zap a gap" ??
