  1. Traditional/Fully Dressed Patterns
My very first Thunder and Lightning but I'm still disappointed to have allowed the head to get away from me and at some point not noticing that I'd dragged the top few wing fibres back. 2. Fly Tying Topics
First attempt at a tube fly. Based on the thunder and lightning fly
  3. Irish Shrimp Fly Patterns

  4. Hairwing Fly Patterns
One I tied today with the Thunder & Lightning in mind. Front hackles of wound Blue Peacock under wound Mallard. I might try another one with blue guinea fowl instead of peacock to see how it looks.
  5. Shrimp Fly Patterns
Wasn't sure under what category to add this fly... A variant of the Thunder and Lightning, size #1.
  6. Traditional/Fully Dressed Patterns
My attempt on fully dressed patterns, a variant of the Thunder & Lighting. Perhaps not so beautiful and precisely tied as flies presented here by Dave Carne, but I hope it's not so bad either. Before this fly I tied two more but I wasn't too happy with results. Hook #2.
  7. Hairwing Fly Patterns
Had a day at the vice yesterday and really liked the look of this pattern so I had a go at it, Dave Mcphail's Dunkeld Thunder Cascade, hopefully I've done it some justice
  8. Northern European Style Patterns
