I've cycled, walked,cycled again and walked again along the banks of the Tay at Dunkeld.....morning,noon and evening.....never seen a splash. But some nice trout rising where the gulls are feeding in the ripply water..
After reading the thread on that monster from Finland it got me thinking. We still have fish that size in our rivers.
What is the biggest Atlantic salmon that you have seen with your own eyes? Doesn’t have to caught or landed could even been netted.

I know things are still early days, and conditions not exactly been good.
But the catches are way way down, and reports form mates on the river, are fish are scarce.
Are we seing the result of storm Francs destruction ? Jan 1016 puts us in line for poor returns on 2sw fish. Lets hope not.
