does anybody know the correct English term if fish come to the surface and try to swallow air because the level of disolved oxygen in water is too low?
The German term is "Notatmung" but I struggle to find the corresponding English word.
(I think emergency breathing is not correct...)...
I see they are now offering rods on Fishpal. That is a sign of the times especially for Sept/Oct. However, at £350 for the latter per day and last season only 20 were caught for that month they may still struggle to find takers. It is a 6 rod beat as
FishPal - Scotland - Tweed - Junction
I've matched up a skagit line for my #7 switch rod. Does this mean that I'll now be able to cast 1/2" tungsten tube flies with this before I buy? I love using the switch rod but it's a struggle with the bigger flies, so will this 500g skagit max be the answer or will it still struggle? Cheers
