Not being a fly tyre myself, to cack handed couldn’t tie a fly to save my life, may I ask a question ?
I’ll tell you how this came about, I was giving myself a hair cut this morning, I know a miserable old pensioner, well I was thinking, does anyone tie flies with human hair?

A long drive and an even longer walk. I've been scratched, tripped and laid out on my back today. All totally worth it for my second spring fish of the year. An absolute beauty taken less than a mile from the salt. Chuffed!

I'm looking for a fly reel that will be saltwater safe and suit my 7wt rod. My plan is to give the mackerel / Pollock a go this summer and I don't think the reel I have is suitable for the salt ( Hardy cls 5000)?
