New to the fun, but had a great time with this fish safely returned on c&r but I had thought at 10lb 1oz a Salmon, until I had shown the picture to a few folk who said before I spoke, a sea trout. Wiser folk than me what's your opinions
Playing about with green bits. Waiting on a new JC cape , stuck on a couple of splits to get an idea. Pheasant hackle wound through for a bit more movement under the fly. Has potential.... It's really hard to get a good picture of the sheep and marabou, never sits right for the camera.
Has anyone else on here had any experience of Veniard's red varnish looking insipid? I bough a new bottle at the start of December from Fishtec and all the heads have come out a pinkish red, rather than the deep red I've always been used to. See picture below:
Every now and then I have a problem when previewing a post to ensure photo has been attached OK. The photo appears enormous and you can only see a very small part of the picture. Any ideas as to what has happened? Perhaps to my settings?
