Having not posed here for some time and having seen Richard's excellent tying of the Green Silk, inspired me to tye a few on various hooks. For comparison the Green Silk tyed on Kamasan B175, Partridge X2B, Salar, Patriot, Ahrex Progressive, Partridge Code P, Loop and Mustad double.

I've been tying these up for saltwater sea trout. Took a fair few goes to get it right. Tied on Partridge Salar tube hook, with a latex shell. I'll be trying it on a double soon for salmon fishing. Cheers
