    I love mull , used to go there with my mum and dad years ago when we were up in inveraray , so naturally I was interested in the salmon and sea trout fishing it had to offer , ive heard of loch ba and the forsa but was unaware it had been improving in "recent" years as the rest of the west...

    I had a few hours on the River Clyde this afternoon. No fish but my Spey casting is improving. I can now put the fly where I want with decent presentation.

    There seems to be some large seatrout being caught on the Dee this season and the numbers are not to bad either. Could this mean the inshore feeding is improving which could also benefit Salmon smolts as they leave the rivers and head off to distant feeding grounds ?.
