Inspired by FaughanPurple's stunning tubes from the weekend, I had a go at something tonight using the good old Willie Gunn colours.

Here's a bit of a play on a Spring Gold Willie Gunn but trying to use feathers rather than Bucktail (there's a little Bucktail kick at the back of the fly as a rostrum). Tight lines, Patrick

Fish from the lower Dee this afternoon. Took a size 8 copper bodied Willie Gunn. It gave a good scrap and swam away strongly on release.
