I have recently been experimenting with full Spey lines and didn`t realize how enjoyable they are to cast! I like the way they unroll with a nice tight v loop "great fun".
On Thursday the river had risen 2ft, yesterday the water was at the ideal 55cm so I went down to try my luck.
I landed 2 and lost one other but had it on long enough not to be to concerned about losing it.
This fish was pretty coloured but well rested it was near 10 minutes before I got it to...
Had some fun framing up some flies for the camp wall using "beaver cut" wood as an integral part of the framing. Same piece of wood in both frames cut in half on the band saw.

A bit like Where's wally:nod: but with a fox instead :)
Took this picture out my bathroom window in spring, now can you spot the fox? Just for fun mind ;). No holiday for two to the Bahamas
An afternoon boat produced this 41/2lb beauty along with a Brown circa 5lb and another 'bow of c 3lb along with a number of recent stockies in the 2lb class. Good fun on a #6 full floater taking me down to the backing.
