    A wee experiment with balsa float bodies and a new clear red top coat. The ones at the top of the pic are the balsa. Very top pic are traditional 3" yellow belly floaters.

    Invented by Fred Yates of Neath, probably my favourite patterns and the best I've tied it. Head needs another coat of varnish. All the correct materials, including dyed blue dun furnace hackle. Dx
