How much are members cutting off the front of the AFS float to improve turnover with tips ? And also, can a loop be welded afterwards ? I've had trouble trying to weld floating lines in the past.

Replacing a old AFS floating line. Noticed you can still get this line, however there is a Rio scandi which looks like it may be its replacement? What is the difference between these lines? Are they different at all?

Rio AFS Tracker floating body 9/10wt 38g in excellent condition. This is the body only without the 15ft tips. Basically the same line as the Scandi Versitip but is orange coloured as opposed to straw. SOLD.
