Default Vision GT Four Catapult suitable for spey casting?

I own a 10# Vision GTFour Catapult (3 piece 14foot) rod. Its a fast action rod and iv only ever used it for overhead casting. I was just wondering has anybody tried spey casting with one of these or does the fast action make that too difficult?

I don't want to buy new lines for it then end up disappointed. I fish big rivers like the Kymi in Finland and need to get good 40 yard casts with shooting head lines.

    Thanks guys!

Excellent rod - spey lines, shooting heads - all go well. Don't get too hung up about the described 'fast action' - the AFS #8/9 and the hardy Mach 55' head spey line suit this rod very well.

loop classic spey line. flies of this rod ,very easy speycasting line.
match it up with 10, 15ft tip and its a rocket.
the loop classic spey line is probably the best floating spey line i have cast.
