    Default Perfection in miniature

When I jokingly suggested to Peter Kealey that he should replicate his 8/0 Lee Blue and Grey on a size 8 hook, such is the complexity of the fly, I thought it would be an impossible task.

But Peter, being the craftsman he is, rose to the challenge in spectacular fashion and I have just received the fruits of his labours.

But it is only when you see the scale of it that you realise what an extraordinary piece of work it.

The entire tying is no bigger than a 1p coin!

Many thanks Peter, I look forward to giving it a swim this summer.

Any chance you could knock out another nineteen before the start of the week, they'd be a priceless addition to the December singles swap?

Time to step up to the crease Dave, what can you turn out on a size 10?

    Tony, no hesitation at all.

When Peter took up the challenge a few weeks ago he said he's adapt the tying slightly so I could fish with it rather than display it.

By mid-July I will have had a fish on it
