    Default Nicholson 4/0 Long

As it happens another Tay pattern - again relatively small for a fly the is pictured in Earl Hodgson's 'Salmon Fishing' from 1906 at 12/0!

The 'Nicholson' like the Black Dog is essentially a generic as there are any number of body colour variations - the ody is by the way about the most complex of any well known salmon fly - though the Owenmore and 'Blackers' Ghost Fly vie with it for this title.

Hope you like it - this is one I'm chuffed with.
