    Default Butcher size 2

This is one of the oldest classic salmon flies (invented by a Butcher called Jewhurst from Sevenoaks), dating back to around 1830 and remaining largely unchanged since then.

PS This is REAL size 2 rather than modern Partridge CS10 type size 2 which is actually 1/0+.

The fly looks really good on this slightly worn-out hook.

No so much worn out as a genuine victorian Harrison Bartleet.

Very nice profile Dave, not easy to get hooks for this type of tying today.
