All done, that's 2 months in a row for me. 100 lines and no tying for a day.

Well done AlanT, a clear winner of the Dull and Drab competition. Stunning fly there Alan.

In second place we have Dr PatrickT with another very strong showing

In joint third we have Starburst Shrimp and the perennial Silver Seeker

Well done again everyone, It looks like the most popular entries (barring AlanT's exceptional March Brown) had an orange feel about th em, I think that's a colour we find hard to let go on these Islands.

Thanks everyone, great flies as usual and I'll be copying a few of the ideas on show.

    Cheers m'dears.
Some nice entries, I think I voted for Dr PT, lovely wee flee, very rustic
My fly was the easiest and quickest tying ever probably because of my trout fly tying origins, its really just a scaled up trout fly.
Quite refreshing to go back to basics using dubbed hares mask etc, natural undyed feathers etc, so much satisfying than using all these artificial or dyed materials. I'm the worlds worst for it but I often wonder how much we dress modern flys to please our eye rather than to please the fishes eye. I can always remember looking into my uncles fly box when I was young, everything was dull and drab, so well done GK a great theme for TOTM.
