The wing is black cock saddle fibres from some of the bigger feathers at the back of the cape.

TBH, I was after more of a pearl effect than blue. I even put a layer of white floss underneath the tinsel ?. Still, it’ll fish.

I like using feather fibres or rabbit fur for the wings on smaller long tail patterns because I think it gives a bit more mobility - a point of detail which probably goes totally unnoticed by the fish.....
