Will i get another seaon out of these bad boys?
I bought replacement Simms a couple of years ago as they were begining to degrade.
I think i might have to bite the bullet finally and let these go.
If anyone thinks they can make use of them as a spare set, let me know.
They are size 8.

You could just dip your feet in bucket full of aquasure 24hrs before going fishing...

Just pondering if i salvage the studs from my old boots or get really extravagant and put in new ones!

Simms Freestones? You’re right, I spent €200 or thereabouts on a pair earlier this year, grand sturdy boot but might as well be on a pair of roller blades in the river, even with studs. Rubbish. To make matters worse I ended up with a similar pair of Simms Tributary boots a week or two later, there was a deal going on waders with boots for an extra few quid. No felt soles available so ended up with another pair of similar rubber soled as well. Still in box, unused, I’ll move them on at some stage, it’s hard to beat the felt!

For gods sake don't buy rubber soled boots unless you plan on just using them on the bank. Whoever invented them for wading needs a bloody good slap.
I never threw mine out.

I will keep them for my annual Helmsdale opening week as everyone bank fishes and for sitting on a Tay boat other than that total Sheite ...
I won't be wading till the end of January i will have to phone Norris up ?
