Struggling to find 16lb Mason hard nylon which is regularly used as a weedguard on bonefish flies..

Is there something similar but easier to obtain..

Have a look at Amnesia it’s a favourite among carp anglers for creating ‘stiff links’

I have used seagaur, or instead of the two prongs, you could use a loop of nylon as on tarpon flies.

As mentioned Tynex is the same stuff.

Carp fishers use stiff mono for ‘chod’ fishing. Available from about 15 - 25lb and supplied by all the main coarse angling suppliers.
